This exhibition comments on the contrast of organized structures with disarray. The collective experience with covid has brought attention to the ways in which society organizes structures in physical and metaphorical ways. Fractals does not rely on the grid system in the way that Units does. They share some of the same colors to connect the pieces together, but use opposing shapes in their setups.

The artists worked on the pieces collaboratively by visiting the sculptures at different times throughout the month of June. The process of working on the piece at different times but at the same place required communication outside of the direct workspace. Everyone completed their roles with the sculptures, and then communicated virtually to update the group. The ways in which the artists worked directly connects to the concept of bringing organization to the disorganized.
